where to start???

so much has been happening, and I've been really bad at keeping up with the blog. i'm going away until Tuesday and promise to give a big update when i get back.

Inspiration...

Okay, if you haven't seen the Yes We Can video yet, by will.i.am, you have to see it. The 2nd video is an acapella version by a group of students, and it's sooo touching. Whoever you support in this historic election, I encourage you to exercise your democratic right, and get out and vote in this Primary. If you want to vote in the Democratic Primary in PA, you must register as a Democrat by March 24th. Let's do what we can to restore hope and possibilities for our future and more importantly our children's future.

It seems Winter took a good hold on me, and sent me into a cave! Here are the winners from the Best of 2007 Contest.

Grand Prize goes to the Parks Family! (Images Y3 and S2)

They got the most votes in the All About You and the Sibling Love categories! In addition to the enlargements, they've also won a portrait session with $200 print credit! Congrats!

In the Family Ties category, we had a feirce competition between images F2 and F4 so we've decided to award them BOTH as winners! They'll each receive a 12x18 inch photograph from their 2007 session!
